REQUESTING A VISIT WITH US AND OUR DOGS
We receive a lot of email inquiries on a daily basis and a lot of interest in our dogs and puppies. Many of those emails are from families wanting to come visit and talk to us. The number of requests is great, and it is impossible for us to accommodate private appointments with every interested family. We have an extremely busy schedule full of caring for our children, school activities, church activities, the daily care of our animals, and the hours required to respond to each email inquiry. Trying to fit in an hour or two a day to meet with people who want to talk is simply not possible or other responsibilities would be neglected. It would be possible to arrange visits whenever people liked if we had a kennel facility with hired staff, but we do not have hired help. It is simply our family caring for our animals in addition to leading very full and busy lives outside of the raising of labradoodles and goldendoodles. We do try to provide opportunities to meet dogs and to talk to us in person through scheduled open houses that we try to provide once or twice a year.
Our breeding dogs live in guardian homes throughout the state of Oregon and only come to us when it is time to breed, and then again a week before they are due with their litter so they can whelp and raise their puppies in our home. This allows each of them to have their own individual home, and for no dog to be kennel raised. We do not own or operate a kennel situation. Since our dogs are all in different locations, in order for them to be available to meet, it is necessary for us to host an open house with our dogs and guardian families in attendance. We only host these once or twice a year as it is very difficult to arrange getting enough guardian homes to attend to make it worthwhile to schedule. We do not ask our guardian families to be available to meet with people on an individual basis, so requests to meet specific dogs that are not currently with us breeding or raising litters cannot be accommodated.
Thank you.

REQUESTING TO SPEAK BY PHONE
We would love to speak to each and every family in person, but would like to explain why that is extremely difficult for us. First, we are very happy to answer any and all questions that families have about our program, our dogs, and our litters. Our website is rich with information and we ask that you review that prior to sending an email. Most of the time questions we receive are already answered there. We only have so many hours in each day to juggle our own busy schedules, as well as care for our animals and respond to emails. Email is fast and easy and allows us to ensure everyone is given the attention they need. If your initial inquiries and questions aren't answered in the information on our website or in our initial correspondence, we are happy to schedule a time to talk on the phone. Thank you for understanding why the phone is difficult for us and why we ask you to please review the information on the site before requesting a phone conversation.
